Thus far, Sam seems to be taking the changes here in the house in stride. Of course, it helps to have Steve and Beth around doling out attention. During their visit, Sam has visited numerous parks, created bubbles with a huge bubble wand, flown his first kite, made smores, had a pajama party and breakfast for dinner, and read lots of books.
He has been very sweet toward Elsie, giving her kisses and notifying me when she might need a diaper change or a nursing. "She's crying, Mommy!" Only when he saw his stroller, rigged to better fit a car-seat, did he express distress. "I don't like Elsie all the time." This led to a conversation about how siblings don't have to like each other ALL the time, but we ALWAYS love each other and NEVER hurt one another...
So far, so good...
